Your Relationship with Us
Mate in the Mountains acts as an intermediary between you and the tour operator. We do not run or operate the treks. All trekking services including guiding, safety, schedules, accommodation and transport are the responsibility of the tour operator.
Bookings and Payments
When you make a booking through us your payment may be processed either directly by the tour operator or through Mate in the Mountains on their behalf. You will receive booking confirmation once the operator accepts your reservation.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation rules depend on the policies of the tour operator. These policies will be provided to you before payment. Mate in the Mountains is not responsible for refunds that fall under the operator’s policy. We will assist you in communicating with the operator when needed.
Travel Requirements
You are responsible for checking your passport validity, visa rules, travel insurance, fitness level and any other travel documentation required for Nepal.
Changes to Itineraries
Trekking itineraries may change due to weather, safety considerations, government rules or operational needs. Changes are at the discretion of the tour operator.

Mate in the Mountains is not responsible for any injury, loss, damage, delay or expenses associated with your trek. All risks associated with trekking activities remain with the operator and the traveller. You agree that our role is limited to connecting you with a provider.
